StackPulse

Effective July 17, 2026 · Last updated July 17, 2026

The short version

StackPulse runs entirely on your Mac. It reads only numeric usage from the local logs your AI tools already write, never reads your credentials, and sends no telemetry. Nothing you see in StackPulse leaves your machine.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy explains how the StackPulse macOS app (“the app”, “we”, “us”) handles your information. The app is published by SaaS Master (Veeme Media). It applies only to the app itself.

2. Information the app accesses — and why

The app requests only the device permissions it needs to do its job. Each one is listed below in plain language:

  • Local AI-tool logs (read-only)

Scans the session logs Claude Code and Codex already write under your home directory — reading only the model name, timestamps, and token counts. It never parses or transmits the text of your prompts, code, or conversations.

  • Credential presence (detection only)

Checks whether a provider credential exists on disk or in the macOS Keychain to show an 'authenticated' badge. It never reads or displays the secret itself.

3. Where your data is stored

StackPulse computes usage on demand from your local logs and keeps it in memory and its own local app state — it does not persist a usage database and never syncs to a cloud. Scanning is strictly read-only; it never modifies, moves, or deletes your logs.

4. Network requests

  • StackPulse's portable core makes no network calls at all — the app is offline by default.
  • A short, named list of requests can leave your Mac, and each goes only to the provider, never to a StackPulse server: Claude live-limit lookups are on by default and send only your Claude OAuth token to Anthropic's usage endpoint (you can turn them off in Settings for a fully offline app). Optional balance checks for your own keys, and optional Stack Health enrichment (npm, crates.io, OSV), are off unless you enable them.
  • There is no account, no login, no cloud sync, and no telemetry or analytics of any kind.

5. What we do not do

  • We do not collect, sell, or rent your personal information.
  • We do not use analytics or tracking inside the app.
  • We do not require an account, a login, or a subscription.
  • We do not transfer your data to third parties for advertising or any other purpose.

6. Data retention and deletion

Because your data lives on your own device, you are always in control of it. You can clear it at any time from within the app or by removing the app, which deletes its local storage. Any files you export are saved by you and are not tracked by us.

7. Children's privacy

The app is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from them.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “Effective” date above and post the revised policy at this URL. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
