PagePing

This policy explains how the PagePing browser extension (“the extension”, “we”, “us”) handles your information. The extension is published by SaaS Master (Veeme Media). It applies only to the extension itself.

The extension requests only the browser permissions it needs to do its job. Each one is listed below in plain language:

• activeTab

  Let you point at and select the element on the current page you want to watch.

• scripting

  Read the selected element or page so it can detect changes.

• storage

  Save your watchers, rules, and change history locally.

• alarms

  Schedule the periodic checks at the interval you choose.

• notifications

  Send you the desktop ping when something changes.

• tabs

  Re-open or re-check a watched tab and manage watchers across tabs.

• offscreen

  Compare snapshots in the background so checks work while you're on other tabs.

The elements you choose to watch, your alert rules, and snapshot thumbnails of what changed are stored in your browser's local storage only. Nothing is sent to us.

• •PagePing makes no requests to our servers and includes no analytics.
• •It includes an optional local webhook that is turned off by default and can only point to a localhost address (for tools like Home Assistant or ntfy). If you enable it, data goes only to the local endpoint you configure — never to us.

• •We do not collect, sell, or rent your personal information.
• •We do not use analytics or tracking inside the extension.
• •We do not require an account, a login, or a subscription.
• •We do not transfer your data to third parties for advertising or any other purpose.

Because your data lives in your own browser, you are always in control of it. You can clear it at any time from within the extension or by removing the extension, which deletes its local storage. Any files you export are saved by you and are not tracked by us.

The extension is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from them.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “Effective” date above and post the revised policy at this URL. Continued use of the extension after an update means you accept the revised policy.
